Totoro

What is totoro?

Well, totoro is a cute mysterious creature who lives in a gigantic tree. Totoro is a forest spirit. Totoro is based on several creatures, like an owl, raccoon and a cat! Totoro has two other weird friends. They look alot like totoro himself. One is white and very small and can also make itself invisible. The other is blue and has also got three boomerag shaped things on its chest. I find that its like a smaller version of totoro. Also a thing that i know, is that totoro and his friends like acorns ALOT. You can constantly see them in the movie.

Some of the main characters in the movie are Satsuki and May. Those two girls moved to the house near the forest where totoro lives. They soon become friends with totoro. Also in the movie, are some black fluffy balls. They are suppost to be some kind of fairies. They are in dark places like old houses or forgotten spaces. So the black balls are in the new house. May and Satsuki are told by the neighbor, that the balls will leave if they see you are a good person. By the way, the movie is really fun! For those who like totoro,watch it! XD

There are lots of fun facts about totoro you didnt know, but ill only tell a few, because its just to many to tell you!

1 Did you know that the movie totoro is inspired by Alice in wonderland? I can understand that, with the catbus and that kind of magical stuff.

2 Did you know totoro actually comes from the japanese word troll? I didnt know that myself at all. But the word troll actually looks like totoro!

3 Did you know that some things in the movie are inspired by real events? Well, that could be true! Most things in the movie could happen!

4 Did you know that the movie of totoro inspired some disney films? I didnt nitice that at all! Maybe i should take a better look...
